The SIG SAUER 1911 MAX CUSTOM 2-TONE .40 S&W Pistol is a premium single-action-only (SAO), full-size 1911 pistol developed with competition performance in mind. Designed in collaboration with world speed shooting champion Max Michel, the 1911 MAX combines SIG SAUER’s precision 1911 craftsmanship with race-ready enhancements for competitive shooting, target use, and enthusiasts seeking a highly refined 1911 platform.

The pistol features a 5-inch match-grade barrel, stainless steel slide with a black Nitron-style finish, and a stainless steel frame in a distinctive two-tone configuration. Competition-focused upgrades include a flat trigger, Koenig-style speed hammer, adjustable rear sight with fiber optic front sight, and a Dawson Ice-style magwell designed for fast magazine changes.

The 1911 MAX CUSTOM also features Hogue G-10 chain-link grips, front strap checkering, an extended beavertail grip safety, and ambidextrous thumb safety. Chambered in .40 S&W, this model uses a 10-round magazine capacity and provides the classic 1911 trigger feel with modern competition-oriented improvements.
